Conditions in England

. Cheaply built houses
. If you were fired you would get kicked out also if your husband dies the wife will get kicked out
. Share with other families
. No garden or space outside for kids to play in
. No running water and toilets were emptied by people as a job
. Diseases that spread really quickly
. Kids didn't go to school and were underfed
. lots of children who were working


Push factors from England
. Took away some peoples right to vote
. Only rich got education
. Society was divided into classes
. A mans place in society was based on how much he owned
. Working class children were employed at jobs like chimney sweeping and pulling coal trucks underground
Over 200 crimes were punished by death

Parliament made laws for everyone and woman had no political power

Only rich had education
Kids would only get taught about factories

Men were divided in classes depending on how much money he has
Competition for money and power
