Migration

What is Migration?
To me migration means animals or humans moving from one region to another

Why do people Migrate?
There are many reasons why people migrate but i think it's mostly because of wars, Politics and the environment.

  4. There was a great emigration of Europeans to New Zealand during the 20th century- No

  6. Many young New Zealanders immigrate to Australia for higher wages - yes
    • Migration: To move from one place and settle in another.
    • Emigration: Leaving your home to move elsewhere
    • Immigration: Arriving in a new place to live
    • Push Factors are factors that encourage emigration from a place.
    • Pull Factors are factors that encourage immigration to a place.
    • Counter-stream: things that make people want to return home after they have migrated
    Chain migration: where a small number of people make the first moves to set up a new home in a new place. They send information back home, and this encourages further migration

What are the consequences of migration?
. New languages . Racism . Harder to find jobs
Why do people emigrate?
. Work . Different country
Why do people immigrate?
. Work . Other people


What obstacles may they encounter?
. Getting a visa . House . Money


What factors might cause a counter stream to migration?
. Miss family . No life insurance . Benefits in own country . Diseases


History of Migration?
. Europeans coming to New Zealand . Dutch going to south Africa


What do migration and a lolly shop have in common?
They both have push and pull factors but with lollies the flavours push you away or pull you in which is the same as migration because the countries you move to could also push you away or pull you in.

The Roman Legion

The Colosseum commonly known as a roman gladiator battlegrounds held many of the worlds greatest battles its where people around Rome came to see people battle to the death for there own amusement

2. In grease live they had to rush between scenes so they would get there on time

4. The movie was better because it was real acting and in the racing scene the car actually moved not just stayed in place and it had real sets the characters were good in the live one but in my opinion you cant beat the original

I dont like this job because it has bad pay and its not my type of job because i like to explore but this job has the same things to do every single day i also want some more free spending money left at the end of the week
